Hank Kiser's martial arts introduction began shortly after high school with Kajukenbo and Taekwondo. Hank holds the rank of Sandan (3rd degree black belt) in Karate and Kobudo and is a certified instructor in Karate and Kobudo in the OSMKKF. He also holds a Shodan rank in Tuide. His instructor is Hanshi John Shipes of Athens Karate. He has taught self defense and martial arts as well as having 20 years experience teaching in elementary, middle, and high school as a public classroom teacher. He has a Bachelor's degree from the University of North Texas in Kinesiology, a Master's degree in Christian Studies from Criswell College and is certified in the state of Texas as a P.E. teacher / coach and a general education teacher.

Cris Burns got his start in the martial arts as a youth in Tang Soo Do. In his mid 30's he came back to martial arts and began training in Karate and Tai Chi. He holds the rank of Nidan (2nd degree black belt) in Karate and Kobudo and is a certified instructor in the OSMKKF. Cris also holds a Nidan rank in Tuide. His instructor is Hanshi John Shipes of Athens Karate. Cris is the instructor for our JKD / Kali / Silat training program and is an instructor in the Parra Academy of Kali/ Silat and Jun Fan Arts Instructor's Association. Cris is also our Tai Chi teacher and studies under Hanshi John Shipes in Athens, Tx. Cris has experience teaching kids classes in Karate and Kobudo through North Texas Kenshin Kan Karate as well as Tai Chi at Move Fitness. Cris has over 20 years experience in the telecom / IT industry.
